Activate the base first. Then go after the competition. Five states.
Built for the Capital Sales Manager role covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, working alongside the NeuWave reps.
The territory.
I'll validate this launch list against the NeuWave installed base in month one. See how I rank these accounts on the Tools page.
| State | Accounts to open first | Why start here |
|---|---|---|
| IL | Northwestern Medicine, Rush, UChicago Medicine, Loyola, UI Health | Densest academic market, and my home base. I have sold into Rush before. |
| WI | UW Health, Froedtert and MCW, Aurora | NeuWave was born at the University of Wisconsin. That is a story the robot can extend. |
| MN | Mayo Clinic, M Health Fairview, Allina, HealthPartners | Mayo sets practice for the region, and I have sold there before. |
| ND | Sanford Fargo, Essentia | Patients travel far for ablation, which is the case for the remote program. |
| SD | Sanford Sioux Falls, Avera, Monument Health | Integrated systems that can standardize across many sites. |
Two horizons, run in parallel.
Months 0 to 12: turn NeuWave accounts into robot accounts
- Rank accounts by case volume, capital cycle and champion strength
- Sell energy and robot together, one account plan per site
- Build a business case per site: cases, time, consistency
Months 6 to 24: win accounts running competitor energy
- Target high volume Emprint, Solero and cryo sites
- Lead with "keep your energy, add precision"
- Use Epione wins to earn NeuWave evaluations
New indications, including prostate, are a third horizon. See the Bigger bet page.
Robots stall at the value analysis committee, not in the clinic.
| Who decides | The physician champion, the IR chair, and the capital and value analysis committees. Each gets the case in their own terms. |
| How it pays back | More eligible patients, fewer needle adjustments, shorter procedures and disposable pull through. |
| How it is acquired | Purchase, lease or a placement tied to disposables. I'll learn which structures Precision IO offers and match them to each account's capital cycle. |
| Reimbursement | Robotic guidance is not paid separately, so the value has to come from volume, throughput and consistency. |
The first 90 days, week by week.
Five workstreams run in parallel. Each checkpoint has a number I report against.

| Checkpoint | What I will have done | What you get | Done when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 30 | Ridden with every NeuWave rep in the territory, scrubbed into Epione cases, finished product training. | A ranked list of every account in five states, and targets agreed with my director. | The territory list is validated against the installed base, and targets are signed off. |
| Day 60 | Met 40 clinicians across IR, radiology and oncology. Picked the first ten accounts and armed their champions. | A one page plan for each of the top ten accounts, with a business case ready for the committee. | Ten accounts each have a named champion and a capital timeline. |
| Day 90 | Run three on site evaluations and moved the first opportunities toward committee. | A written territory plan, the year one forecast, and findings from prostate KOLs. | Three evaluations are complete against criteria agreed before the robot arrived. |
The numbers I would sign up for.
Aggressive, and confirmed against real baseline data by day 30.
| Day 60 | 40 | clinician meetings across all five states: IR, radiology and oncology leaders |
| Day 90 | 10 | qualified robot opportunities, each with a named champion and a capital timeline |
| Day 90 | 3 | on site evaluations with success criteria agreed up front |
| Month 12 | 4 | Epione placements: at least three in NeuWave accounts and one conquest |
| Month 12 | $8M+Note | capital pipeline in committee or later, for year two |
| Post install | 8+ | cases per robot per month by month six after install, the utilization that earns the next placement |
Based on capital cycles of 9 to 18 months for new robotic systems. The pipeline figure assumes a list price that Precision IO would confirm.
